  • At Rainbow Elementary, our House System is designed to create a strong sense of belonging, leadership, and community for every student. Every student and staff member is assigned to one of six Houses: Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, Valor, or Perseverance. These Houses provide opportunities for students to connect with peers and staff members across grade levels while developing positive character traits and school pride.

Within each House, students are placed into smaller House Families that include students from every grade level. House Families are led by a staff member and serve as a place where students build meaningful relationships, learn from one another, and develop a sense of community that extends beyond their classroom. Older students have opportunities to mentor younger students, while younger students gain role models and encouragement from their peers.

Throughout the year, House Families meet to participate in team-building activities, character education lessons, school celebrations, and service-learning projects. These experiences help students strengthen friendships, practice leadership skills, give back to their community, and work together toward common goals.

The House System supports our mission of launching tomorrow’s dreams by fostering a positive school culture where every student feels connected, valued, and empowered to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

  • Our House System is designed to create a strong sense of belonging and connection for every student. Each House is made up of approximately 100 students, while House Families serve as smaller communities within the House. In these groups, students will build relationships with a designated teacher leader and fellow House Family members from every grade level. These cross-grade connections help foster mentorship, leadership, and friendships that can last throughout a student’s time at Rainbow Elementary.

House Families will meet together once each quarter to participate in team-building activities, celebrate successes, and engage in meaningful service-learning projects that support our school and community.
